Stoel had us sketch and shade these awesome scenes. This one was my favorite. Although we were under a time limit for each sketch I believe this one turned out well.
These I was very impressed with. I enjoyed drawing and shading them. Still life, though? I think not. It is very hard to be the object of a still life. I learned this from experience. You have to get in a comfortable position that you can hold for a long time. I had trouble with that!
This is the shaded site proposal for my "rock." It is right outside of the Gatewood building in the center of the circle drive. I had a lot of fun with the trees.
This zine is for our time capsule project. My proposal is a gradually polished rock that will be installed outside of our Gatewood building in the center of the traffic circle across the street. It's final dimensions will be 6'x6'x6'. It is to represent us as students who start at very rough and gradually develop in our five years of the program and finally are polished in the real world that we all plan to enter. This program is also a very solid one, hence the rock!
This is my first design research zine. I enjoyed making it. I need to learn more about Adobe Illustrator in order to make it more professional looking.
